We can get your material to physical mailing addresses anywhere in Australia using our address database that draws from Australia Post and the Australian Government’s GNAF data.
We can then print and envelope your material and either distribute ourselves or send via Australia Post.
Great for:
Reaching regional areas
Dispersed individual addresses
Contacting landowners who live off site
Targeted direct mail sales.
What information do I need to provide so you can get me a quote?
There’s quite a few variables involved in planning and quoting on direct mail. The key things to think about are:
Do you have the address data or do you need us to source it for you?
Is the address data in the correct format?
What kind of document do you want to mail? (A4 folded to DL, A3 etc)
Is the address data already merged with the letter or will you need us to do it?
Will the envelopes need to be printed and if so, do you have artwork?
Do you have a return to sender address?
What kind of postage do you want (standard, registered, express etc)
Whose account will be postage be charged to?
I don’t have an address list, can you help?
Yes. We have access to the Aust Post master list of Australian addresses. If you provide us with a map on the area you’d like to mail to, we can extract the address data and create a mailing list.
Can I use my own envelopes?
You can. However, the envelopes will need to be DLX or larger and be lick and stick to run through the inserting machines.
Is there a surcharge on the Australia post mailing costs?
If you use your own account, there are no additional costs associated with mailing through Aust Post. Using DanD’s Aust Post account incurs a 10% disbursement fee.
What are your production lead times for Direct Mail?
Smaller mailouts of a couple of hundred can usually be lodged within a working day. Larger mailouts can take 4 to 5 working days.
What are the Australia Post lead times?
There have been a number of changes to Australia Post service delivery guarantees due to COVID-19.
Standard mail is 5-7 working days as they are only delivering every second day.
Express mail next-day delivery is currently suspended.
